Valorant Store and Cosmetic Content

Valorant Store and Cosmetic Content

Valorant is free-to-play but it's possible to use real money to acquire additional content such as weapon skins.

Valorant Store and Cosmetic Content

Valorant is finally available to everyone for free. Like most of the games available on the market, you have the possibility to use real money in order to get extra content, mainly cosmetic. In particular, you can get the premium battle pass for $10.

There are two currencies in Valorant

  • Valorant Point (VP): This currency can only be obtained using real money. The minimum exchange rate is 500 VP for $4.99. If you buy a higher number of Riot VPs you get a bonus.
  • Radianite Point (RP): This currency can be retrieved free of charge through missions and battle pass. VPs can also be converted into RPs.

These two currencies will allow you to acquire mainly weapon skins and to improve them. Valorant Points are used to buy weapon skins in the shop and, once you have them, you can customise them a little more with RP. These upgrades can be visual and sound effects. Please note that these effects will only be visible to you so as not to "interfere" with the experience of other players.

The shop is regularly updated:

  • Packs of skins stay about ten days.
  • Individual skins stay two days.

Finally, for F2P players who still want to get some free cosmetics, skins are offered to you during contracts and through the season 1 battle pass allows.
