Ingots are one of 3 types of Wealth that you will come across in the world of Assassin's Creed Valhalla and you will need them to upgrade your equipment in the Blacksmith Shop. It's not a necessary step early in the game, but once you've got your hands on Offchurch's weapons, you'll want to improve it all. In this guide, we will see how the types of ingots are arranged on the huge map of the game with very simple indications.
Tungsten ingot and location on the map
There is a very easy way to know what type of ingot you will find based on its placement on the world map, since the distribution follows a logical pattern in line with the level of power required in each zone. To make it short: Carbon Ingots are in low level areas like Ledecestrescire or Grantebridgescire, while Tungsten Ingots can only be found in the more remote areas of Ravensthorpe Settlement.
For the first copies of this resource, we recommend the city of Jorvik and more generally the Eurviscire. The many opportunities to hide in crowds or flee from an enemy onslaught allow you to visit the city in search of its many Wealth before the relatively high power score required upon entry.
You would think that the puzzles hiding the chests with the tungsten would be more complicated than the others, but it's not. Other than a specific case, in assassin's offices and those kind of secret places, you should have no trouble finding "isolated" ingots that are easier to catch.
The case of Vinland is a bit different, since the resources gathered there are used exclusively for your progress in that region.
Already upgraded weapons and armor
It's a bit the concern of this system of reinforcement thanks to the ingots: most of the best equipment of the game is already at the maximum, like the sword Excalibur. On the other hand, you will need to improve the first pieces of the set dedicated to the God of Lightning, collected from the Daughters of Lerion.
To avoid long hours of research, sit down and take stock of what is in your personal armory: only spend the ingots found if you are sure that the associated gameplay is suitable for you. Remember that the increase in quality does not change the statistics of a piece of equipment, but simply pushes the limit of their leveling up.
