This daily quest can appear in your list at any time during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5. It's related to the character of Sleuth, and you'll have to deploy a total of three scanners near Retail Row.
Used to triangulate a position, these scanners are relatively difficult to locate within the shopping city itself. Don't panic, their precise locations are shown on the map below.

Before activation, scanners are presented like machines equipped with parabola, but in a yellow holographic form. They're virtually transparent until you interact with them.
Once you're close to each scanner, all you have to do is interact with each one. This common quest will reward you 1,000 XP. It's always good especially at the beginning of the season, when you want to quickly unlock the new skins and items of your battle pass.
If this quest appears in your logbook, be careful: it will disappear after 24 hours!
Retail Row will sometimes be a contested spawn in Season 5. Try to pick up a weapon quickly to defend yourself. Note that this challenge is also available in Team Rumble, where there are fewer enemies and you can reappear at will.
