Fortnite Week 4 Challenge: Experience low gravity with Alien Nanites or on the Mothership

Season 7 of Fortnite is well under way, with the Week 4 challenges now live.

You have two options when it comes to experiencing low gravity: with alien nanites, or in the mothership. The mothership route is easier than using the nanites.

How to use the mothership

Start by landing near a mothership. You cannot miss them, since they are all indicated on your mini-map by a purple logo.

Once landed, take the time to find yourself some gear while staying close to the ship. You shouldn't have too wait long before you see it turn green and start swinging rays towards the ground.

Try to approach it so that it detects you, and then wait patiently.

After a while, and if you haven't been shot down by an enemy, you should start getting sucked into the flying saucer.

This will take you directly to another dimension, with your only equipment being a Kymera Pistolaser.

You'll then encounter other players who have also been abducted by aliens. This dimension is actually a kind of mini-game that gives you rewards.

Avoid enemy fire and try to recover the golden orbs, which are scattered all over the playing field. These increase your number of stars, but be careful -- you only have a limited time to do get the maximum possible.

At the end of the timer, you will be teleported alone to a new room filled with chests. These contain rare rewards, dependingon the number of orbs you managed to collect.

You also have a time limit before being teleported back to the island, so make sure you open them!

This challenge isn't difficult, but takes time. A word of advice: do this quest at the start of the game, so that it's quiet afterwards. With a little luck you'll get your hands on some legendary equipment to help in your quest for a Victory Royale!
