The 2019 Paladins World Cup began several weeks ago. After tough group phases, we finally know the four teams competing for the $300,000 cash prize and the prestigious world championship title! Will Team Envy be able to keep the title for the second year in a row?

The first semi-final was extremely close between the two teams, who successively took the lead over their opponents. After playing a seventh and final map, the Knights finally extinguished any hope for Team Envy to preserve their title of world champion.
Ninjas In Pyjamas qualified for tomorrow's grand final after defeating Virtus.pro 4-2. They fought to the end but that wasn't enough to make it to the final stage of the competition.
