The Worlds are over, the All-Stars as well — but, all over the world, the League of Legends esports scene keeps running. Starting on December 21, the Demacia Cup, a Chinese tournament, concluded its eleventh edition yesterday with the victory of Royal Never Give Up.

RNG claim their third title after defeating EDward Gaming in finals, preventing them from winning their seventh cup after three consecutive failure — and they did so without the help of their ADC star Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao who was replaced by Lu "Betty" Yu-Hung.

That's surely great news for Royal Never Give Up, who were eliminated out of Worlds 2019 behind Fnatic and SKT T1 at the outcome of the Main Event. This victory will surely bring a boost to their morale.

It was also a great opportunity for Betty to shine: recently recruited after the dissolving of both Flash Wolves and the LMS, he did prove that he was completely able to handle the pressure of the LPL environment and achieved the second best KDA of the tournament.

While RNG hasn't yet announced any role swapping between Betty and Uzi, it appears that the rookie is ready to pick up the torch!
