The future collaboration between Fortnite and the film Birds of Prey is almost at the stage of open secret. According to ShiinaBR, the Harley Quinn skin will arrive in the Item Shop on February 6. The dataminer — known for the reliability of leaks — explains that this information comes from a reliable source.
In addition to the skin's release date, we also learn that it will be accompanied by two harvesting tools (a sledgehammer and a bat?) as well as a series of challenges to unlock an exclusive variant for Harley outfit. It isn't excluded that these cosmetics will actually be available in a bundle as it has been the case in many other collaborations.
The collaboration with the movie Birds of Prey was first announced via Twitter, where Fortnite's official account responded "See you soon Harley!" to a publication featuring the actresses. The movie will be released on February 7.
At the time of writing, it isn't clear whether the collaboration will go beyond simple skins with the image of the heroines. Fortnite has assured that an event will end Chapter 2 Season 1, but we don't know if it will be related to the movie or not.
Update 11.50 arrives this week and will be an important crash test for Fortnite. The game will be moving to Unreal Engine Chaos physics system. Epic Games has been very discreet about the rendering but we can expect a real visual revival for the famous battle royale.
