Writer, producer and creative director, Dan Houser will depart the studio in March, having worked on the development of prestigious games such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.

Take Two announced the departure of Dan Houser, who will be leaving his position at Rockstar after a long break, during their reporting of studio financials. Houser had previously confessed to high levels of crunch suffered by members of his team when Red Dead Redemption 2 was released.

At this moment, it is unclear whether this admission had a role in Houser's departure, since the precise reason was not given by Take-Two Interactive.

The publisher thanked him for his contribution to Rockstar's globa success. Houser notably participated in the production and writing of the scripts for GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas, GTA5, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
