One out of every two Nintendo Switch users owns Fortnite

In a report published by Nintendo at the end of 2018, the company revealed an astonishing statistic: of the 22 million Switch users at that time, nearly half (10 million) had downloaded Fortnite. Since then, no statistics have been released regarding downloads of the game, but the figure is still impressive. A figure that reminds us of the enormous impact of the license and the plurality of its players. In the 24 hours following its release on Switch, Fortnite was downloaded more than 2 million times. A special Fortnite Switch pack was released for the occasion.
