Weeks of waiting were long! Recently, Fortnite announced a postponement of the competitive deadlines until stable servers could be established. It seems to be done, as an official announcement has stated that FNCS are back! The Fortnite Champion Series Duo will be started on March 20. The competition will be open to all Duos who have reached Champion division. Players will be able to warm up during training simulation on March 13-15.
This season, the FNCS competitive circuit will feature two lanes: one for PC players, the other for controller and smartphone players. The rewards will be the same. You won't be able to team up with a partner playing on a different platform. For the duration of the Fortnite Champion Series, the highest scoring duos will qualify for the Grand Finale of the season.
To participate in the event, you'll need to activate the Two-Factor (or Multi-Factor) Authentication. Find out how to do it right here.
An official tweet from Fortnite enlightens us on the inactivity of the battle royale's competitive scene during the beginning of Chapter 2 Season 2.
