The studio behind The Witcher games, and currently working on the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077, is donating almost a million dollars to help Poland weather the Coronavirus crisis. The first half of this donation comes directly from CD Projekt, while the second comes from shareholders and headquarters.
This money was sent to The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, a recognized Polish association, manufacturing medical equipment and providing assistance to the elderly. Finally, Marcin iwinski, co-founder of the studio, concludes his statement on Linkedin by thanking the hospital staff. Recall that the RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on September 17 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and that the CD Projekt teams are currently working remotely.
