It's been a while since Nier Automata was released, and many fans, new and old alike, have been hoping for a remaster of previous games, i.e.Drakengard (2003) and NieR / NieR Replicant (2010).
The Twitter account of NieR Japan published a rather mysterious teaser announcing the upcoming release of what seems to be a remastered version of Nier Replicant for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Rather few details have been delivered yet, apart from the localization in English, and we don't know if it will be a simple remaster, or something more advanced.
At the same time, another video came to tease the arrival of another game: NieR Re[in]carnation, planned on iOS and Android.
This game is developed by Applibot, a Japanese studio specialized in mobile games that previously worked on the TCG Legend of the Cryptids among others.
After a long wait, and much speculation, Square Enix have now released a playable Final Fantasy VII Remake demo for PS4.
