Fortnite's map is likely to look like a gigantic bouncy castle in the coming weeks! Epic Games has just deployed a new item called the Crash Pad. This alternative pad can be picked up by stacks, and each one deploys a large trampoline on the ground. Jumping on it will make you bounce up and down several tens of meters, with no fall damag at the end.
In this gameplay excerpt, Fnlewis uses the item to make several consecutive jumps, throwing the trampolines while in the air. It's easy to guess how useful the mat will be in the team rotations at the end of the game. The advantage over the classic pad? It's easier to use and allows you to pull or build while still in the air!
This new pad can save your life in case of a fall that would normally be fatal!
Deployment of update 12.30 has enabled dataminers around the world to retrieve unpublished cosmetics files, which will be released in the coming weeks in Fortnite.
