The PS5 continues to play the great mysterious game, and now Sony has continued its momentum by disseminating information about its next machine.
Today, it's a little spotlight on the DualSense — the controller that will accompany the next-gen console from the Japanese manufacturer.
Here is a small summary of the information given in a blog post accompanying the first images of the new controller.
New PS5 controller: The DualSense
- Adaptive triggers for L2 / R2.
- Haptic feedback.
- Lighter and with a greater battery life than the DualShock 4.
- The "Share" button has been removed in favor of a "Create" button. More information will come on this later.
- As you can see, the light bar has been moved.
What do you think? From our side, this first look at the new PS5 controller shows promise, with a shape that immediately seems much more comfortable than that of the DualShock 4.
Now all that remains is to find out more about the hardware and its handling in different types of games.
Sony boss Jim Ryan ended the post by explaining, once again, that a lot more information on the PS5 will be revealed in the coming months — and that a late 2020 release is still on the cards despite the coronavirus outbreak disrupting the industry greatly.
