According to the journalist Travis Gafford, Team Liquid are ready to accept the trade of Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng's contract. (Source)
Doublelift has been part of the League of Legends esports since the very beginning. In a career of ups and downs, he has played for Counter Logic Gaming, Team SoloMid, and joined Team Liquid in 2017 to become the savior the team needed.
However, since the beginning of the 2020 Spring Split, Doublelift's performances have been quite poor — and this split the four-time champions didn't even reach Playoffs.
Of course, the visa issues surrounding the import of former Fnatic jungler Mads "Broxah" Brock-Petersen played a big role in Team Liquid's failures — but the ADC player admitted himself that he had a period where he kind of lost motivation.
It remains to be seen whether any team will show interest in Peng's availability. Until then, the future of the ADC veteran seems shaky.
Travis Gafford, well-known journalist from the League of Legends scene, revealed via his YouTube channel that 2/3 of the LCS pros players had voted for an outright cancellation of Spring Split following a vote led by The Players Association.
As the final straight is about to begin, six teams are set to battle for the title of LCS champion. Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, Team SoloMid, Golden Guardians — after nine weeks of competition, some teams rose to the top while others merely qualified. But who will emerge on top?
