After T1, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Cloud9, Athaim joins the small circle of organisations that have bet on Valorant. After Apex Legends, Call of Duty and CS:GO, Athaim was seduced by this new game and recruited an entire Russian team:
- Maxim "Mixmeha" Vikulov
- Nikita "Turra" Tyurin
- Artem "Nzt" Khatuncev
- Maxim "6URN1CH" Pavlenko
- Yevgeniy "Flammable" Tkachenko
- Artem "Ups" Slozhenikin (Coach)
Turra and Mixmeha are already used to FPS, as they're former Apex Legends and Overwatch players. They don't have any track records to their credit at the moment.
Anthaim will probably not be the last one to bet on Riot Games' new game, especially after their statements on their plans for the competitive scene of Valorant. The publisher would like to develop this aspect with the help of historical actors such as ESL or DreamHack — which will surely convince the organisations that hesitate to launch their own roster.
