ESPN Esports has organized its own Valorant Invitational with a specific format. Each team are made up of five professionals players of the same game, forming a total of eight teams: CS:GO, Fortnite, League of Legends, PUBG, Rainbow Six, Apex Legends, Overwatch, and Valorant developers.

This tournament has started at 12:00 PM PT on April 20 for the first part of the event. The second part will probably be played on Wednesday.

Program

The entire event will be cast by Jacob Wolf, Arda Öcal, Kevin Knocke and David "Simo" Rabinovitch.

For the moment, we don't know the format of the tournament. If ESPN Esports respects and copies previous Invitationals, it should be divided into Groupe Stages with a total of six matches per group. The two best teams in each group would qualify for the Semi-Finals.

If the tournament takes place over two days, it could be played in BO3 instead of BO1. There would then logically remain the Finals.

We can already put a ticket on the monstrous Counter-Strike team with players who have marked the FPS History in recent years. Beware of strong individualities in the Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex Legends teams.

Where to follow the event

The entire tournament will be broadcast on the ESPN Esports Twitch channel.
