Hitbox in shooting games — as in many other types of games — is an essential part of the gameplay. If the hitbox is poorly defined, the pleasure of the game can quickly be ruined. In Valorant, a user recently discovered that there was a big issue with Jett's hitbox. As seen in the video, the agent is shot several times in the upper shoulder and upper back.
The video alone is quite edifying. Pending further testing, one may wonder how this situation could have occurred, why, and whether similar cases may be found with other agents in-game. One possible theory would be that the agents' hitboxes don't depend on their physics but on the targeted height.
No doubt Riot Games will react soon to avoid the anger of the players.
