Two weeks ago, Team SoloMid sprang a surprise that widely animated the discussions of the League of Legends esports scene by recruiting one of their former player: Yiliang "Peng" Doublelift.
While some prominent members of the community raised the possible conflict of interest surrounding the situation, the direct effect of such transfer was the departure of Kasper "Kobbe" Kobberup, after just one Split played alongside Team SoloMid.
However, the Danish player apparently had no trouble finding an organization and, less than one year after he joined the LCS, he's back on the LEC stage as the new starting ADC of Misfits. Ju "Bvoy" Yeong-hoon left the organization, becoming a free agent in the process.
Let's face it, since they joined the LEC in 2017, Misfits only achieved mediocre results. While they shone in their first year of appearance, they only managed to be a mid-table team since then.
It remains to be seen if the recruitment of Kobbe will change anything to their record...
