Fortnite had to take a restrictive measure regarding the Riot Control Baton. Introduced for the first time on December 13, 2019 in the Star Wars store for 1200 V-Bucks, the Riot Control Baton was also available in the Order and Peace pack with various tools for 2,000 V-Bucks.
The pick will be unavailable until further notice in order to resolve a bug: the people who equipped the Riot Control Baton could walk without making any sound.
It is not the first time that this kind of concern rised. Recently, Deadpool's glider was deactivated in the arena because its deployment animation made players difficult to target.
