It's only a few hours before the start of the PlayStation 5 "Future of Gaming" event, a show that should last a little more than an hour according to Jim Ryan. Here is all you can expect to see and the latest rumours around the presentation.
It's unlikely that we'll know the price today
According to Daniel Ahmad, well known analyst for the video game market, we shouldn't get any information about the console price just yet. This event will, for him, focus on the games and maybe the design of the machine.
Bluepoint Games remakes
As we know, the studio responsible for the remake of Shadow of the Colossus is already working on another remaster. Rumours suggests that this new remaster could be From Software's Bloodborne.
The return of Gran Turismo?
For a few years now, Gran Turismo has been quite silent in the shadow of Forza. With a fresh patent application filed on the initial date of the PS5's live announcements and a tweet from the very discreet Mr. Yamauchi, founder of Polyphony Digital and father of the cult franchise, as the only tangible proof, this event could mark the comeback of Gran Turismo.
Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War: Two titans
Rumours surrounding the sequel to one of the biggest PS4 games broke a few weeks ago, with the hope of a multiplayer mode and an even bigger world to explore: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 would make an excellent candidate for the "punchy" announcement of today's event.
Another huge game from the manufacturer, God of War, could also be in the running for a comeback, given the end of the last game, it's only a matter of time before Kratos comes back and this show would be a great time to make it official.
