T1 didn't intend to stop so well its ascent in Valorant — even though it was the first organisation to invest in the latest game from Riot Games. It has recruited five former CS:GO and Overwatch players: brax, AZK, crashies, food and Skadoodle.
Their objective is simple: to dominate the future competitive scene wanted by the publisher. Besides, T1 announced yesterday the opening of an Academy team. It will aim to seek out and support tomorrow's talent, just like its rival at Valve.
The team is currently composed of four players:
- Haydin "ZerG" Gordon
- Kurtis "Kurt" Gallo
- "Eeiu"
- "Rara"
By being a pioneer in this area, T1 chooses to take a considerable lead when most competing organisations such as 100 Thieves don't have a full roster at the moment. It's quite a risk for the South Korean team, as they weren't present on the FPS scene before the arrival of Valorant.
