Final call on July 22nd for Mixer: starting today and over the next few weeks, Microsoft's streaming service will redirect its viewers to Facebook Gaming. Announced as a competitors to the other giants of the industry, Mixer simply didn't make the cut.
Microsoft is teaming up with Facebook Gaming to ensure a smooth transition until it completely closes its services and automatically redirects to Facebook Gaming. On the streamer side, Mixer partners will automatically be entitled to the same status on Facebook and all those who have subscribed to the Mixer Pro subscription packages will be offered Xbox gift cards.
The star streamers, bought by Mixer for millions of dollars, Shroud and Ninja are now free agent and could be coming back on twitch very soon.
