After recruiting its first Valorant player at an early stage, Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, Cloud9 hadn't given any information about what was to come. That has now been done with the announcement of the recruitment of a former CS:GO player, Skyler "Relyks" Weaver.
The American player made his debut on CS:GO and went on to join prestigious teams such as Misfits Gaming, Bad News Bears and the latest, Team Singularity — with which he competed in the ESL Pro League Americas in 2019, finishing in 7-8th place.
Since the beginning of the year, he hadn't played in any tournament, which gave us the impression that he would be moving to Valorant. This very promising roster will participate in the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown this weekend. They will face talented teams such as T1 or Ninja, also part of this tournament.
