Braindancing — Put Yourself in Others' Shoes
CDPR showed off something called 'Braindance'. This is a mechanic in which you, as the player, can access and relive the memories of some characters. This will include sight, sense, sound, touch and smell.
In the Cyberpunk universe, this tech was originally developed way back in the early 2000s and was used for therapy and prisoner rehabilitation. In 2077, it's a thriving industry.
You'll be able to use Braindance to find clues, which will help tell stories and aid you in your quests. It's an important mechanic, and something which will help make Night City feel even more alive.
Finally, CDPR announced that free upgrades will be available for those who purchase Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One, and later pick up the PS5 or Xbox Series X on launch. Details of this will be revealed later.
