G2 Esports hasn't completed its Valorant roster yet. After the recruitment of the Latvian Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks, there is still a place left in Carlos "Ocelote" Rodriguez's team. As the game is played with five players, it will be the Belgian David "davidp" Prins who will serve as a pickup for the Valorant European Open — a competition organized by Vitality.
For the time being, G2 has made official the recruitment of four players for its Valorant team. All former CS:GO pros, they are an incomplete team, but they are already a force to be reckoned with:
- Oscar " mixwell " Cañellas Colocho
- Patryk " paTiTek " Fabrowski
- Jacob " pyth " Mourujärvi
- Ardis " ardiis " Svarenieks
For the Vitality European Open, the next European stage of the Valorant Ignition Series, the fifth man will be David "davidp" Prins. He's also a former CS:GO player, having played with dizLow and Team Heretics. It's a real chance for this 25-year-old player, who will live a kind of life-size test.
It's quite possible that after a good performance the player will be kept. In Valorant, davidp has already distinguished himself with Mixwell as he won the G2 Valorant Invitational alongside him.
