UPDATE
Ubisoft has now confirmed Giancarlo Esposito's involvement in Far Cry 6 in a teaser on Twitter, in which they cheekily acknowledge the leak.
According to the store listing, Espositio plays a dictator named Anton Castillo on the fictitious island of Yara. His goal is to restore his nation to its former glory, the listing says, and his son Diego is said to follow in his bloody footsteps. The player will assume the role of Dani Rojas, a local who becomes a guerrilla fighter in order to liberate the nation.
Original Story
Four days before Ubisoft Forward, information about the games that will be presented during the show has leaked on the web.
Recently, a pre-order page appeared on the PlayStation Store for Far Cry 6, suggesting that the game will be released on February 18, 2021, for both current and next-gen consoles.
The game should even offer one of the famous free upgrades from PS4 to PS5. It means that if you buy the game on your PS4, you'll be able to play it again on the upcoming Sony console without additional cost.
Finally, this leak apparently confirms the presence of Giancarlo Esposito (Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad) as the antagonist for this episode.
A spoiler as to the plot (and link to a previous game) has also been dropped according to a thread on Reddit...
Ubisoft Forward takes place at 12:30 PM PT on Sunday, July 12, with a preview show featuring beginning at 11:30 PT.
