When the large Valorant community isn't having fun gathering information about Killjoy or previewing new skins, they find new bugs to exploit. The latest one is quite surprising since it allows the Spike to be planted outside of the site, so that it can be placed just about anywhere.
To freely plant the Spike on the map, you have to play with Phoenix at all costs. His ultimate skill, Run it back, is well known for giving his caster a bonus life. It allows you to run around to force duels and take information while staying safe: the thrower then goes backwards. It also allows you to plant a bomb outside the intended site.
To do this, you need perfect timing. Neither too early nor too late, you must start planting the bomb on the spot a little before the end of your skill. By doing this, you'll finish the drop to the ground at the same time as you go back to your original position. If the glitch is well done, the bomb will be planted at the place where you launched Run it back. A place that can be far away from the point.
If this use requires to be on the point in terms of timing, you must also not be killed during the planting of the bomb. If you are victims of this bug during your next games, you are likely to be lost while looking for a Spike posed in an unusual and impossible place. We don't know how long Riot Games will take to fix this, but we hope this glitch will be fixed as soon as possible.
