Fresh from the leak of the title and logo for Call of Duty 2020, more details surrounding the game are continuing to emerge.
Named Black Ops Cold War, the sub-franchise appears to be returning to its roots of the Cold War, focusing on the time where the first Black Ops game is set.
Leaked by TheGamingRevolution and @dkdynamite1, the leak states that Woods will be the main protagonist, while Alex Mason will not feature in the game.
Woods has played a major part within the early Black Ops story line, whether it's a bad-ass soldier battling through the Vietnam jungle or a wheelchair-bound version in Black Ops sequels. The decision to completely omit Mason from the campaign does seem strange, given his heavy involvement in Black Ops and the "numbers."
As always, leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt especially when no official information surrounding CoD 2020 has been revealed, but this could well change in the next few weeks.
