PS5 State of Play returns with news on indies, VR and third-party

No Playstation Studios update this time as it's Third-party, VR and indies' time to shine in the State of Play. In this edition of the PS4 and PS5 event we'll be getting news and exclusive gameplay footage of announced titles.

PS5 State of Play returns with news on indies, VR and third-party

State of Play is back with a new edition on Thursday, August 6 with a new edition, not focusing on Playstation Studios this time.

In fact, this edition, planned to last around 40 minutes, will be focusing on smaller games and on particular on Indy games, VR games and games made by third-party producers.

State of Play returns Thursday at 1:00pm Pacific!

What to expect:

▪️ A few quick check-ins on third-party and indie games from June’s PS5 showcase

This time, no new information on hardware, PS5 big titles or features.

The State of Play will be broadcast on Twitch and Youtube at 1pm (Pacific Time) on Thursday August 6.

PS5 preorders could be limited to one per household

A notification spotted on the Playstation Connect site suggests limited preorders for each household wishing to acquire one of the two new PS5 models.

PS5 Activities: an interesting new feature leak on the net

With this new feature of the PS5, gamers should be able to access any activity in a game, directly from the console interface.
