It's now official: Marvel superheroes will be featured in Fortnite's upcoming Season 4. A few days ago, a secret source informed some dataminers about it, and now it's been confirmed with this new leak from the Korean Nintendo Switch eShop.
For a few moments, users were able to discover the image that will be at the top of the future shop. You can see the name "Fortnite" with the face of Thor from the comic books in the background.
It was FortTory who was the first to reveal the image to the general public.
Logically, Thor's skin should appear in-game during Season 4, via the battle pass. That being said, it isn't yet known if the season's plot will be truly centered on Thor or extended to the whole Marvel Universe. Captain America skin trailer, released during the current season, already featured discreet clues such as the Bifrost and Asgardian symbols.
Epic Games and Marvel have already established numerous partnerships in the past on the battle royale. The most remarkable was a collaboration around the Avengers, united to defeat Thanos.
