The American giant 2K is very active in this pre-next gen period, with a new press release for example. Indeed, we are confirmed that the progression in MyTEAM mode as well as VC credits, MyTEAM points, cards and tokens will be transferred to the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles in order to "enjoy NBA 2K21 without interruption". As a reminder, the CEO of 2K, Stauss Zelnick had explained why NBA 2K21 would suffer a price increase between the current and the next-gen, believing that it was justified.
It will also be possible to transfer your PS4 and Xbox One saves to PS5 and Xbox Series X when they release this fall. The title will also be adorned with a system of seasons offering new content and challenges for everyone, free of charge.
A limited mode, available from Friday to Sunday, will also appear in this version, allowing each player to try to win their champion ring. Finally, a system of exchanging your duplicates or old cards against will be set up in order to refresh your roster at a lower cost.
Finally NBA 2K21 will be available on September 4 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and Switch, the playable demo being available this morning.
