The noose is tightening around the releases of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, both slated for release before the end of the year. Today, the VideoGamesChronicle site publishes a long analysis on the sale of these famous consoles, raising several rather interesting points. First of all, it's the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus crisis that would make manufacturers feverish at the announcement of a fixed release date across the world.
But several sources from development and distribution have confirmed to VGC that the PS5 will most certainly be released in mid-November, likely on the 13th, which will also meet the expectations of distributors. But these same sources also reveal that Microsoft is expected to draw the Xbox Series X first, the first week of November. Finally, sources directly from the Xbox brand confirm that the American manufacturer expects Sony to release its console on November 13.
These dates are quite plausible and which are indeed perfect for launching this type of product, with the end of the year celebrations and the famous Black Friday week. In addition, some large cartridges from third-party publishers like Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War are already planned on next-generation machines for November, which ultimately leaves little room for doubt as to the two machines launch window
