Transfers from other FPS to Valorant aren't about to stop. It's the turn of Joshua "Steel" Nissan, former CS:GO player, to become a full-time content creator on Valorant.

Steel leaves CS:GO for Valorant

His name may ring a bell knowing the scandal he was associated with a few years ago. Joshua "Steel" Nissan is a former CS:GO player banned from official Valve competitions since 2014 because of his participation in a rigged game in North America with his teammates at the time: brax and AZK.

He had recently made his comeback in minor competitions, including ESL Cologne. Since then, he has announced that he's putting his competitive career on hold to devote himself full-time to Valorant as a content creator. This doesn't change the position he has within Chaos EC as he remains affiliated with the organization.

Over the years, bans have been lifted except for majors organized by the publisher itself. Nevertheless, players have bounced back with the recent arrival of the Valorant phenomenon. brax and AZK were recruited by T1 as soon as the game was launched with the ambition to create "one of the best Valorant rosters in the world".

For its part, Steel is moving away (definitively?) from the competitive scene in order to stream Valorant full time. Enough to make you forget his sulfurous past by focusing on a new goal. Perhaps he'll one day join the South Korean organization and consequently his former comrades. Only the future will tell us!
