Fortnite: Recovery Van Buff, Patch Notes 14.00

Since Epic Games no longer publishes official patch notes for Fortnite, it's no longer rare to notice minor changes several days after an update. The latest one concerns the recovery van.

Fortnite: Recovery Van Buff, Patch Notes 14.00

Epic Games is a master at keeping the various changes and balances added to Fortnite secret. Following the deployment of Patch Notes 14.00, a certain change applied to the recovery vans had remained in the shadows until this weekend.

It concerns their cooldown of use, i.e. the time that must elapse between two resuscitations. Several players have shared their discovery on social networks. Formerly 120 seconds, the cooldown of use of the vans has been reduced to 60 seconds in Season 4!

A notable buff of this feature, which will concern casual players more than pros.

This change will allow more teams to have access to resuscitation. Whereas before, a van in charge was almost an invitation to pass by and head to another location, this season will see more emergency rescues. Teams will be better able to stay in the race, playing intelligently towards the cities, even with fallen teammates.

Samurai Scrapper Pack to appear in Fortnite

A brand new Fortnite challenge pack should appear in-game soon. Called Samurai Scrapper Pack, it will include lots of comestics but also a series of challenges so you can earn some EXP for your battle pass.
