November 10. That's the date the 2020 League of Legends Ranked season ends, leaving just 29 days to get those games in.
Unlike previous seasons, Ranked rewards work a little differently this time out. Of course, if you finish Gold IV or higher you'll earn a prize, but there are now also bonuses on offer for each rank you earn higher than that.
These come in the form of different chromas for the Victorious Lucian skin, as you can see below:
In addition, anyone who finished Ranked placements will receive an Eternals Lucian Series 1 Permanent, allowing you to gain special flairs for ranking up your skill with the champion.
Rewarding the truly competitive with Clash prizes
This year has also seen the addition of the Clash mode, which allows players to band together and take on other summoners in a tournament format.
Now, Riot have revealed details of prizes on offer for consistent performances, which use the mode-specific Victory Points as a basis.
Participation nets you a Clash Contender Icon, with the following on offer:
Contenders Level
- Contender Summoner Icon: 1 VP
- Contender Clash Logo: 200 VP
- Contender Clash Banner: 1000 VP
Conquerors Level
- Conqueror Summoner Icon: 2000 VP
- Conqueror Clash Logo: 3000 VP
- Conqueror Clash Banner: 4000 VP
Champions Level
- Champion Summoner Icon: 5000 VP
- Champion Clash Logo: 6000 VP
- Champion Clash Banner: 7000 VP
There are two more weekends of Clash remaining before the end of the season, so there's still plenty time to earn higher rewards!
Good behaviour = better rewards
There are also rewards on offer to those with higher Honor levels:
Honor 3 Capsule
- Random Ward Skin
- 3 Key Shards
Honor 4 Capsule
- Random Ward Skin
- Random Emote Permanent
- 3 Key Shards
Honor 5 Capsule
- Random Ward Skin
- Random Emote Permanent
- 6 Key Shards
Real-world prizes on the way!
Finally, Riot have confirmed that certain players — depending on region — will be able to pick up Honor-specific merch in the Riot Games store.
This will include customisable hoodies and T-shirts, and is available to players who have reached Honor 2 or above.
