Rockstar, the ultra-popular company behind titles like Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, acquired Ruffian Games and rebranded it as Rockstar Dundee.
The change went through on Oct. 6, according to a Companies House listing, but has been in the works for a while, as one Twitter user pointed out.
Riffian has previously worked on games like Crackdown 2, The Master Chief Collection, Project Gotham Racing, and Fable 2. The company recently tweeted that it is hiring.
With next-gen right around the corner, it's possible that Rockstar is beefing up its ranks to make sure it's prepared to develop titles for the two new upcoming consoles.
The company has a good backlog of games that could be remastered as well, like Manhunt, the older GTAs, and even the underrated Table Tennis.
