The Halloween festivities are coming to an end in Fortnite! It's time for the plot around Galactus and Marvel superheroes to resume on Apollo Island. On its official Fortnite Status Twitter account, Epic Games has announced the release of update 14.50 update on Tuesday, November 3 at 1:00 AM.
A rudimentary patch notes has been provided to some Fortnite influencers and content creators. Here are its key points:
- New item: the Jetpack. Straight out of Stark Industries' futuristic factories, this new object will allow you to fly solo!
- Preparation of the game for the arrival of the next-generation consoles (Xbox series X/S and PS5). Several improvements are planned.
- New series of challenges to be completed in squad and bringing lots of EXP. As the end of the season approaches, Epic Games wants to make sure it doesn't frustrate players who are struggling to complete their battle pass.
Other new features should logically be deployed with v14.50. Apart from bug fixes, it's mostly clues about the closing event of Season 4 that are expected by players.
Epic Games is talking about the "biggest event ever done". Once the maintenance is over, the map might be modified in a few places...
What is certain is that the arrival of Galactus is imminent. All you have to do is raise your head and search the skies to find him!
