Superheroes' efforts in Fortnite paid off: Galactus was defeated. The Zero Point, which is at the origin of all realities, suffered some collateral damage. In Chapter 2 Season 5 story trailer, we learn that Agent Jones (aka Jonesy) will have to dive into the loop to repair the Zero Point.
Jones will have to assemble a team of hunters to protect the realities. On the phone, the voice warns him about "The Seven". We have dealt with these strange beings in the past.
For the moment, we only know three of them: The Visitor, The Scientist and The Paradigm. We don't know their purpose yet, but they're always around when it comes to ground zero.
Note that almost all of the trailer of Season 5 takes place in what seems to be the offices of a transcendent reality, which we have already seen at the end of the event of the Device.
At the time of writing, it's still difficult to say exactly what is going on. This new season confirms us that the Zero Point is the center of multiple realities, which have in common to take place on a good old island governed by the law of the battle royale!
