In Fortnite, XP is a major issue, at least for most people. It allows you to compare yourself to other players but also to unlock the famous stages of the battle pass. That's why, following updates, players desperately try to find an exploit in-game to get some faster — before it's detected and then fixed by the development teams.
After the release of Season 5, a first bug was revealed. It allowed players to get unlimited XP, simply by going to a specific location on the map. By reaching this point, you were getting instant XP. The issue was that it was possible to repeat the operation as often as desired.
The Epic Games teams then had to fix the problem quickly by temporarily disabling all the XP obtained by discovering a location. Once the bug will be fixed, 50,000 XP will be offered to players to make up for the shortfall due to the deactivation.
At this time, the exact date of the reward isn't known.
