CD Projekt is breaking the Cyberpunk 2077 vicious circle a bit by putting some good news on the investor table, via a new press release from last night. Even those who are studying the possibility of legal action, have been told that the open world RPG has still sold 13 million copies, taking into account the various refund requests on all platform.
A particularly high score, equivalent to big games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 or Call of Duty according to Daniel Ahmad on Twitter, we are therefore on a consequent success, despite all the setbacks of the launch and the confusion of the management of the Polish studio.
One hardly dares to imagine what it could have given if the title had managed to keep all its promises or, even, if the technical record had been less contrasted. While waiting for the January and February patches on consoles, sublime photos of Night City mingle with clips of unlikely bugs on the networks, while the game is still absent from the pages of the Playstation Store.
