Update: the Prop Hunt is now available in game! To play a game: go to map number: 6069-9263-9110 in creative mode or use the new creative mode tools to create your own prop hunt map.
For those who don't know Prop Hunt, this is a mode that has been adapted many times on many popular games and consists of a hide and seek between hunters and props. Props can look like any object on the map and must blend into the scenery, hunters must ask themselves what object doesn't seem to be in its place to eliminate the props.
It was Dr. Lupo, famous American streamer and youtuber, who presented the upcoming arrival of the mode on Fortnite on the occasion of his transition to E3.
The pro hunt principle on Fortnite is simple. When the round starts, the props have a few seconds to take the appearance of an object of their choice and hide. Once this time has elapsed, the hunters are released on the map and have limited time to eliminate all props.
Props can change their appearance at will and take on the appearance of almost any object on the map (except buildings). They can even change their appearance in the middle of the game, they can also move at will whatever their shape. But beware, it is very dangerous to transform or move once the hunters are released on the map. Once in a while the props automatically "whistle" to give hunters an indication of their position.
Hunters have Boogie Bombs to throw on the objects to make them dance and display the props. They also have several weapons at their disposal to eliminate the props once they are found.
If there is only one prop left alive at the end of the countdown, the props win the game.
The mode should be available in game in the coming weeks.
