Since the implementation of Patch 15.30 in Fortnite, two new tabs have appeared in the Character Collection bearing the numbers 43 and 44.
The community immediately started searching for the locations of these NPCs, although unsuccessfully. These characters aren't on the island yet, given they are just placeholders.
We'll know the nature of the characters later, during Patch 15.30.
Who is behind these numbers?
It's still difficult to predict who might be hiding behind these numbers in the Character Collection.
We can assume they'll be linked to events, or to cosmetic crossovers, as was the case with the Predator — character 42 in the NPC collection.
We also know that an additional portal to another dimension is being deployed from Zero Point. In other words, a new skin from an external universe is about to be revealed. This could also lead to an in-game character, similar to the Predator.
Another hypothesis is that characters that would be related to the upcoming Chinese New Year or Valentine's Day.
