Hot on the heels of the Final Fantasy VII Remake news, the entire PlayStation Plus lineup for March has been revealed.
Initially posted on the PlayStation NL Facebook account, the link was quickly deleted — but not before it was picked up by the usual social media news-breakers.
Both PS4 and PS5 users can redeem Remnant: From the Ashes, an action-roleplaying third-person shooter from Gunfire Games that sold over 1m copies. Maquette, a first-person recursive puzzle game published by Annapurna Interactive that "takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge," can only be redeemed by PS5 users.
They are joined by PSVR-exclusive title Farpoint, a first-person shooter set on a hostile alien planet that features both singleplayer and online co-op play. It can be played on both PS4 and PS5 with the PSVR headset and camera.
Users who claim Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4 via PlayStation Plus will not be able to take advantage of the free PS5 upgrade announced by Square Enix.
All titles can be claimed between March 2 and April 5.
According to a description on the Japanese PlayStation Store and later confirmed by PlayStation Netherlands, the Square Enix title will be given away to all PlayStation Plus subscribers in March — but you won't be able to upgrade it to the PS5 version.
