A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle video game has been announced

In development by Tribute Games Inc (Panzer Paladin, Flinthook, Mercenary Knights) and being published by Dotemu (Streets of Rage 4, Windjammers 2) and Nickelodeon, a new title featuring the four beloved turtles has been announced.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a four player co-op beat 'em up with a pixel art retro style. It's a clear homage to the SNES classic Turtles in Time published by Konami in 1991. On this opportunity, the four protagonists must prevent Krang and Shredder's latest plans. The developer team promises "intense combats loaded with breathtaking action and outrageous ninja abilities".

They must go through the dangerous neighbourhoods of New York and fight on city rooftops and inside sewers. Each fighter has their own skills and moves, so select the one that adapts better to your playstyle.

Here's the announcement trailer, featuring gameplay and Mike Patton's (Faith No More) voice in an original song.

Shredder's Revenge is coming to PC and consoles, but there isn't any confirmation regarding date or specific systems yet.
