Coaching slots coming to Valorant in a future update

During the latest "Ask Valorant - Esports" entry, developers answered some of the fans' questions about the competitive part of the game. Apart from some interesting news regarding Master points, Champions Tour Event and casters, the most exciting announcement has to do with coach slots being a part of Valorant.

When patch 2.08 arrives, it will include a new feature that will allow coachs to support their players in an unconfirmed way. According to Esports Strategy Riley Yurk, "overall, we see the coach and player relationship as an important dynamic in our esport. We have some ideas on where we want to take this and will be talking with players (specifically In-Game Leaders) and Coaches in the near future to solidify our plans."

The feature will first be implemented in a "basic" way, but it'll receive improvements in the future.
