Genshin Impact's Developer Discussion (04/29) roundup

The latest Q&A series from Genshin Impact's developers features new info about Treasure Seeking Seelie, Keqing, Raw Meat and Elemental Reactions.

Genshin Impact's Developer Discussion (04/29) roundup

Last week, Genshin Impact had a Developers Discussion in which miHoYo focused on the brand new Serenitea Pot System. Today, Travelers can read a new edition and find out some news about some specific items, characters and gameplay issues.

The first two questions had to do with the Treasure Seeking Seelie item and Keping. Are they coming back? The devs said that yes, but only the female character has a clear date of return: the future Moonchase Festival.

Another question was related to the Serenitea Pot System and the possibility of obtaining Raw Meat from animals while in Realms. Unfortunately the answer was negative: Travelers can only acquire this resource from Teyvat's animals.

Lastly, there was a question regarding Elemental Reactions. Some of their effects don't work when the Elemental Reaction is triggered far away from the character. Apparently, this was a design choice and it has to do with system performance. However, the team shared that they are planning some general changes for Elemental Reactions, which are already being tested in 1.6 beta:

  • When a character reaches Level 60 or above, the damage caused by major reactions (i.e. Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, Swirl, and Shatter) will be increased.
  • The Base Shield DMG Absorption for shields generated by Crystallize reactions will be increased.
  • The DMG Bonus provided by Elemental Mastery for major reactions will be increased. (Refer to the attributes panel in-game for the exact DMG Bonus amount).

You can check the whole Q&A here.
