After hearing complaints from competitors worldwide, Riot Games is removing Breeze as one of the playable maps for its upcoming LAN tournament.

The recently-released map Breeze will not be playable at the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters event in Reykjavik later this month. Professional VALORANT players had complained about the map's inclusion in the tournament, arguing teams would have too little time to prepare for playing on the map.

Not long after the initial announcement that Breeze would be included, Riot changed its stance and addressed the matter: "After conferring with pro players globally, in the interest of competitive integrity, Breeze has been removed from the map rotation at Masters Reykjavik. Considering the overlap with Challenger Playoffs and travel to Iceland, 4 weeks is not enough time to practice a new map."

VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters kicks off on May 24th, and will be the first-ever international VALORANT tournament hosted in a LAN setting. Ten teams compete for the title, a yet-to-be-announced prize pool, and a large chunk of Circuit Points. At the end of the year, teams with the most Circuit Points qualify for the World Championship event.
