Sorting your Fortnite inventory can be a pain. Picking up items and trying to organise them to your own taste can cause you to lose important matches, because important weapons and items are not where they should be.
HYPEX, a well-known leaker, recently tweeted that Epic Games could be working on a new function that would completely revolutionize this matter. This would automatically assign weapons that you pick up to a slot of your choosing.
For now we have no concrete idea of when this feature would be deployed, but it seems it could be during the current season.
