Hunter's Arena is a most peculiar game, which PC users have been able to try in Early Access for a few months now.

It's a multiplayer game in nature, and has two different modes -- solo and trios -- each offering different ways to play. It asks players to master the unique abilities of each character, while also encouraging teamwork.

Hunter's Arena will be released on PS4 and PS5 imminently, on August 3. As an added bonus, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to claim and download the game for free on the same day.
It's a tactic many developers have used to gain strong day one numbers for their titles, especially those which rely on multiplayer.
